CONTRIBUCION PARA El ESTUDIO DE LOS ANTIGUOS ALFABETOS FILIPINOS
Cuando los espa�oles llegaron al Archipielago Filipino, encontraron
que sus habitantes de raza malaya llamados Indios, tenian sus
alfabetos y su manera de escribir pr�pia.
Si bien su estudio parece poco interesante, porqu� tal escritura est�
hoy por completo abandonada y olvidada, y porqu� no existen libros ni
monumentos con inscripciones antiguas, es sinembargo, curioso y �til
para la historia de aquellas islas, historia tan descuidada y tan poco
conocida que, apesar � por lo mismo quiz�s que de ella se ha escrito
mucho, est� aun por estudiar y hacerse.
